First aid course for babies and toddlers
On 31.01.2024, a “First Aid Party” took place in our Church of Hope.
Eight participants, including grandparents and young parents, have gained new insights into first aid for babies and young children. The main topics included “swallowing,” “falls,” “fever,” “safe transportation by car,” “burns and poisoning.” Chest compressions with ventilation can also be demonstrated and tried out on two correspondingly small exercise dolls. All participants were grateful for the comprehensive and competent information provided by emergency paramedic Angelique Schlabeck and still hope that they do not have to apply what they have learned.
