Baseball & Cheerleading Camp 2025

We, the Church of Hope Bünde, are organizing this camp together with our partner community from Flatonia, Texas. A week full of sport, fun and community awaits you!

What is baseball camp?

Texans teach you baseball for an entire week! They teach you how to hit, catch and throw the ball perfectly. To make you feel like a real baseball star right away, you'll get your own equipment: A cool baseball shirt and a baseball cap - they're yours right from the start and you can take them home with you.

What is a
Cheerleading camp?

Are you someone who likes to motivate people and create a good atmosphere? Then the cheerleading camp is just the thing for you! Here you have the opportunity to cheer on the baseball players with cool choreographies and cheers together with experienced Texans on the sidelines and between games. No previous knowledge required — just drop by, have fun and get the energy out in the field!

Equipment is provided!

You don't need any equipment for baseball camp. During camp, we provide all equipment. All you need is sports shoes and comfortable sports pants (short or long depending on the weather).

Snacks & drinks!

During training hours, you will be provided with snacks and drinks. If you have a reusable bottle (not a glass), feel free to bring it with you. So you can fill them up with water at the kiosk.

Learn English while playing

Thanks to the coaches from Texas, you hear a lot of English during the week. You'll notice that speaking English isn't difficult. But don't worry! There are translators in every team.

Kick-off & registration

Am Sunday, July 20th Let's start the week together. At 10:00 Let's start with an opening service, then there's something to eat for everyone. Registration is staggered: If you are between If you are 8 and 13 years old, you will arrive at 14:00. All 14 to 19 year olds are at 15:00 It's on. Don't forget to stop by the control station!

training times

From Monday to Friday (July 21-25), we train every morning from 8:30 to 12:30 in the Erich Martens Stadium. Here you'll learn all the important baseball skills and really let off steam!

The big tournament

On Saturday, July 26th, show off what you can do! Our tournament starts at 8:30 a.m. Food is provided and, of course, there is also an award ceremony. At 1:30 p.m., it's the end.

evening program

On three evenings (Monday, Thursday and Friday), we meet at 7:30pm in the Church of Hope for a joint evening program. The Tuesday, July 22 will be particularly cool with our “Texas Night”!

The baseball & cheerleading camp is organized by the Hoffnungskirche Bünde (formerly EFG Bünde) and our partner community in Flatonia (Texas).

Who is the baseball & cheerleading camp suitable for?

The baseball camp is suitable for children aged 8 - 19 years and the cheerleading camp for children aged 8 - 14 years. No previous knowledge is required for both.

Is there a discount?

Yes! If you sign up with siblings, only the first registration pays the full price. Everyone else saves 10€! If you have a Wittekind pass, you save 50%. Feel free to talk to us about our contact form on.

Do I need to be able to speak English?

No There are translators on every team throughout the camp who are always there to help you. You'll notice that you'll quickly learn to speak some English too!

What if my child falls ill for a short time?

When and to which account do I have to transfer the participation fee?

You will find out after you register.
